Honoring Adrian’s life, legacy and the love he had for his community.
Adrian was deeply loved and will always be remembered for the joy, light, and love he brought into the lives of those around him. His life was taken too soon through a senseless act of gun violence, and our world changed forever. In the face of unimaginable loss, we chose to build something meaningful in Adrian's honor. The Adrian Kimborowicz Foundation exists to turn our pain into purpose by giving back to the community he loved so much, raising awareness and helping others in his memory.
Our Mission
Our mission is to honor Adrian's legacy by empowering the Greater Lowell community he cared deeply about, inspiring a brighter future for graduating students at Greater Lowell Tech, and fostering a culture of community-driven prosperity. By investing in the potential of these students and other children and teens throughout his community, we aim to create a ripple effect of positive change. We also seek to raise awareness about the impact of violence, not only on victims and their families, but also on the entire community, and to galvanize our collective efforts to build a safer, more compassionate world.
Partnering with Greater Lowell Technical High School
We work closely with Greater Lowell Technical High School to identify graduating seniors who show dedication, hard work, and heart—qualities Adrian lived every day. Together, we make sure the scholarship reflects his spirit and values.
Choosing Scholarship Recipients
With guidance from school staff, we review students who could benefit most from extra support. We look for students who are committed to their education or trade, and who may need help covering the costs that come after graduation.
Providing College and Trade Support
Our scholarship helps with college expenses, such as books and fees, and with tools and supplies needed to start a trade or career. This support eases the financial burden so students can focus on learning, growing, and building a safer, stronger future.
Honoring Adrian Through Other Avenues
We also hope to support our wider community by helping fund youth sports and local efforts that create safer, more caring neighborhoods.
There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone, their light remains.
